The New Horizons Concert Band and Pops Ensemble of Hagerstown, Maryland, are looking forward to a new 2023 Concert Season.

Thus, this year, both venues will be seeking local musicians Age 50+, working or retired adults that play traditional band instruments including Clarinet, Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Saxophone, F Horn, Euphonium, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba and Percussion.

Next year will be our 25th Anniversary Season and a diverse program of band music will be presented including American & Patriotic Music, Marches, Broadway Show Tunes & Movie Music, Big Band Jazz, Contemporary & Light Classics. The band will showcase its member’s talents at public events, music festivals, theaters, community & social gatherings, schools and churches.

If you enjoy playing music, come join us and share your talents. Everyone is welcome and no auditions are required. Your enthusiasm for playing music is all that’s necessary.

Depending on COVID, rehearsals may begin on March 8, 2023 at the Hagerstown YMCA for the Pops Ensemble on Wednesdays from 1:00 - 2:30 PM and in March 10, 2023  for the Concert Band on Fridays from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.
